DigiCert data breach exposed customer information and identity documents

DigiCert reported a data breach after a server migration exposed an internal business system to the internet. Unauthorized access affected a small portion of archived customer data, including names, business email addresses, phone numbers, and business addresses. For some people, the records also included a driver’s license, passport, utility bill, or another document containing a name and address.
