Browser extension could influence AI assistant actions

Forever Security demonstrated that an ordinary browser extension could influence the AI assistants in five Chromium-based products. The attack required the malicious extension to be installed and already running in the victim’s browser. These were researcher demonstrations, and no public evidence showed the methods being used in real attacks.
