An identity theft service launched on the dark web, Nexus, allegedly offers digital scans of more than 153 million drivers licenses from people in the United States and Canada. KrebsOnSecurity linked the possible source of the data to Louisiana-based identity verification company idscan.net and reported that the FBI’s New Orleans field office opened an inquiry into the apparent breach.
