CERT24Microsoft fixes Smart App Control broken by October Windows update
Microsoft resolved a known issue that prevented some Windows 11 devices from enabling Smart App Control after installing the October 2026 KB5127648 security update. The issue was fixed by Windows updates released on October 28, 2026, and later, including the KB5127936 preview update.
