A flaw in the urllib3 Python library can lead to a denial-of-service (DoS) condition. A malicious remote server can respond to a client request with an HTTP message that uses an excessive number of chained compression algorithms. The unlimited decompression chain can cause the client system to consume a virtually unbounded amount of CPU and memory, making the application unresponsive.
