NIKKE PC game launcher hacked to spread remote-access and data-stealing malware
The developers of Goddess of Victory: NIKKE confirmed that a third party tampered with the game's PC launcher scripts in a supply-chain attack. The modified scripts could load malicious code capable of providing remote access and stealing credentials, browser data, and cryptocurrency-wallet information. Level Infinite issued a client fix on November 4 at 02:30 UTC+9, while the scope of the impact remained under investigation.
