Manchester Airports Group (MAG) confirmed a data breach involving customer information held in a third-party database. The exposed data included email addresses, phone numbers, vehicle registration details, postcodes, names, IP addresses and booking information. MAG said airport operations, passenger safety and aviation security were not affected, and that payment-card data was not accessed. FulcrumSec claimed responsibility and published approximately 550 GB of data after MAG rejected its ransom demand; its claim that access was obtained through Iterable administrator keys embedded in the JavaScript of the airport websites remains unverified.
