CISA: Maximum-severity GitLab flaw is now being exploited in attacks

CISA confirmed that attackers are actively exploiting the critical GitLab vulnerability CVE-2026-97229 and added it to the Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog. GitLab has fixed the flaw and urged administrators to patch their servers immediately.
