Microsoft Takes Down Fox Tempest, Which Offered Malware-Signing Services

Microsoft took action against Fox Tempest, a financially motivated cybercrime-enabling group that offered a malware-signing service. According to Microsoft, the service allowed criminals to present malware as legitimate software and evade traditional security defenses.
