Sakura data breach exposed data from up to 1.36 million user accounts

Sakura Internet disclosed that hackers accessed its sales management system on August 9, where customer contract and membership information is stored. Up to 1,360,563 member accounts may have been affected, but the exact number remains under investigation. No data exfiltration has been confirmed.
