A database containing the personal and work information of more than 41,000 U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) employees and contractors was published online. A hacker using the handle Department of Peace claimed the data was stolen from an Okta single sign-on system used by DHS personnel. Okta said it had no evidence that its data or systems were compromised, while DHS said it was addressing a potential breach.
